Contraceptive implants, intrauterine devices (the coil), and injections that contain progesterone or its derivatives do not interact with testosterone. Combined oral contraceptive pills that contain oestrogens may not be the preferred option for patients on the transmasculine spectrum, due to their potential feminising effects.
